With proper care, your vehicle wrap should look great for 3 to 4 years. Handwashing with mild soap and a soft cloth or sponge is preferred for cleaning your vehicle graphics. If you use an automatic wash, please ensure it does not have spinning hard brushes as they will mar the finish and potentially lift the vinyl at the seams. Pressure washers are not recommended. IF you do choose to use a pressure washer, keep the wand at least 4 feet away from the surface and spray at a 90-degree angle to the surface of the car to prevent the spray from lifting an edge.
In the unlikely event should you notice an edge lifting or the vinyl
‘tenting’ or pulling away from a recessed groove or contour of the vehicle,
we recommend you arrange a visit to your local graphics installer to have this repaired. Once water and dirt get under the vinyl, it can spread and fail very quickly. The installers can usually trim away the affected part and use additional adhesive to help the remaining vinyl stay down or cover the area with a small patch of clear vinyl. If it is not practical to take the vehicle to your installer, then you can use a utility knife (with light pressure and care) to trim away any peeling vinyl. This will help prevent further problems.
